While it may come at a higher price point due to the expedited service, the accelerated delivery is invaluable for products that need to reach their destination promptly. Our air freight services encompass both FOB (Free on Board) and Ex-Works consignments. Under the FOB option, we handle the entire shipping process from the supplier’s nearest airport in China, ensuring the seamless transfer of goods to the airport and onward to the UK. With the Ex-Works arrangement, we initiate the process from the supplier’s premises, providing comprehensive logistical support from pickup to delivery in the UK.

Customs Clearance From China
As well as shipping your goods from China to the UK, part of our service includes the UK customs clearance of your goods. Whether you are importing LCL or FCL, our team will handle the whole customs clearance process for you.
Prior to your consignment arriving at Southampton, London Gateway or Felixstowe port, one of our team will be in touch to ensure we have all documentation in place to make the prompt clearance of your goods. If this is your first time importing goods from China, don’t worry – our team will guide you through the whole way. From ensuring correct documentation is in place, to selecting commodity codes and arranging payments of Duty/VAT, our team will assist you with the clearance process.
If you are importing an LCL consignment, then typically the devanning of containers will be done at the port destination warehouse within 48-72 hours from date of arrival. The goods will be carefully unloaded from the container, cross checked against the manifest to ensure all is in order. Any discrepancies, such as shortages/damage to goods, are reported to us by the port warehouse – so we can make you aware and agree on the next steps.
For clients who are importing full container load consignments from China, upon the container discharging from the vessel – we aim to have transport booked for the onward haulage of your container within 48 hours. Of course moving a full container, means that there is less work involved at the port and we can generally have cargo moved a lot faster to the final delivery point, subject to the customs clearance of the goods.
Nationwide UK Delivery
As your consignment clears customs, we will then arrange delivery of your LCL consignment. Generally this is 24-48 hours after the goods have cleared customs. We have at our disposal a fleet of vehicles from small vans to 44 tonne articulated vehicles. We can also cater for timed and tail-lift deliveries, if the delivery point does not have a forklift truck for example.
For larger consignments we handle which are full container loads (FCL), we will arrange delivery of the container to your premises at a pre-agreed date/time. Our team will work with you, to arrange delivery of the container at a time that suits.
